* On the FIRST SUNDAY of the month, the museum is OPEN from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm and FREE OF CHARGE.

Visitors are informed that from Tuesday 4 March until the end of summer 2025, the third and fourth floors of the Galleria Nazionale di Palazzo Spinola will be closed to the public for work on the technical systems.

The works normally exhibited in these rooms will be the protagonists of a major exhibition at the Reggia di Venaria (Turin) – “Magnifiche Collezioni. Arte e potere nella Genova dei Dogi” (Magnificent Collections – Art and Power in the Genoa of the Doges), from 10 April to 7 September 2025.

Accessibilità

The two noble floors of the historical residence and the third floor with the National Gallery of Liguria are accessible by lift for visitors with motor disabilities. The following are not accessible by lift: the Marquis’ Apartment (first mezzanine), the historical kitchens (second mezzanine) and the sections of the National Gallery of Liguria on the fourth floor.

Groups
We recommend that groups (maximum 25 people, including accompanying persons and guides) book their visit by writing to palazzospinola@cultura.gov.it to avoid waiting and overlapping with other groups or events. To purchase tickets in advance click here, where you will find the contact details of our electronic ticket office manager. We do not accept group bookings during free admission openings. On such days, guides are recommended to make short visits so as not to hinder the flow of visitors.

Educational Service
Palazzo Spinola offers schools and groups of visitors various guided tours and activities, subject to prior booking by writing to palazzospinola.didattica@cultura.gov.it. The activities and workshops are completely free of charge.


Only dogs and other small pets are allowed inside the museum, kept inside a appropriate pet carrier for the duration of the visit. For heritage protection and conservation reasons and for the maximum safety of the public, dogs and any other medium or large pets are not permitted, even if on a leash and/or muzzled.
